Marshall Studio Vintage SV20C MkII 20W 1x10 Combo
Marshall · amplifier
The Marshall Studio Vintage SV20C is the 1x10 combo version of the Plexi-based Studio Vintage, built on the 1959SLP Super Lead circuit — four inputs, two channels, no master volume. It gives the rounder, bluesier Plexi crunch at 20 watts, switchable to 5, in a single-piece format with a ten-inch speaker. That smaller speaker gives a tighter, more focused response than the twelve-inch cabinets the original Super Leads drove, which is the main tonal difference from running the SV20H into a 4x12. As with all non-master-volume Marshalls the sound comes from pushing the output section. It suits classic rock and blues rock players wanting Plexi behaviour in one carryable box.
