Marshall Studio Vintage SV20H 20W Head

Marshall · amplifier

The Marshall Studio Vintage SV20H is a 20-watt head based on the 1959SLP Super Lead Plexi, the four-input, two-channel, non-master-volume circuit behind much of the classic rock era. It reproduces that Plexi voice at a fraction of the original wattage, giving the rounder, bluesier and more defined crunch the Super Lead is known for at volumes that are actually usable, and switches down further to 5 watts. Because the original has no master volume, the character comes from driving the output section, so the amp responds strongly to guitar volume and cleans up when rolled back. It suits classic rock and blues rock players who want authentic Plexi tone without a 100-watt stack.
