The Park P50B Super Bass recreates a 1968 Super Bass circuit. The Marshall Super Bass of that year was closely related to the Super Lead Plexi but carried a different tone stack, producing a fuller low end and a smoother top — which is why guitarists adopted it at least as readily as bassists, and why it survives as a guitar amp today.
