Source Audio · pedal
The Source Audio Mercury Flanger is a multi-engine flanger offering several distinct flanger voicings. Its Thru-Zero (Tape Flange) mode recreates the classic dual-tape-deck flanging effect, where a static delay and a modulated delay sweep past each other and briefly cancel out completely at the null point for the dramatic, twisting whoosh associated with true tape flanging, an effect notoriously hard for pedals to reproduce. Its Shadow mode delivers a highly resonant yet silky-smooth jet-engine flange, while its Classic Flange/Chorus mode gives a thick, chewy vintage flanger or chorus tone. MIDI control and Neuro app programmability let players save and recall presets. It suits players wanting a genuinely versatile flanger palette from subtle chorus-like movement through to dramatic through-zero jet effects.
