The Tru-Fi Ghost Vibe is a recreation of the classic Uni-Vibe effect built by a self-described Hendrix tone enthusiast, developed by referencing six modern vibe pedals alongside original 1968 and 1969 Uni-Vibe units to get as close as possible to the vintage 1968 sound. It includes the three core controls of the original, Volume, Speed, and Depth, labeled Intensity on the vintage unit, plus a Vibrato and Chorus mode switch. An internal buffer and normal switch mode selector makes the pedal brighter and better suited to sitting ahead of wah or fuzz pedals when buffered, or delivers a slightly darker, more vintage-accurate tone when left unbuffered. It runs on a 9V battery or power supply with voltage internally converted to 18V for extra headroom.
