The Benson Amps Deep Sea Diver is a combined fuzz and analog echo pedal created in collaboration with guitarist Jessica Dobson of the band Deep Sea Diver. The fuzz circuit is a three-transistor topology described as a mashup of Mk1.5 and Mk2 Tone Bender designs, producing dark murky vintage fuzz. The echo section uses a tweaked PT2399 chip for warm analog delay. A unique feature allows swapping between fuzz-into-delay and delay-into-fuzz signal order by holding the footswitch at power-up. Suits psychedelic rock, shoegaze, and experimental playing where vintage fuzz and warm echo work together.
